Hi, I'm Hannah!

I grew up in Concord North Carolina, and I'm currently living in Greensboro NC, so I'm a southern girl through and through.  After graduating college from the University of NC at Greensboro (UNCG), I started writing this little blog, and Thirsty World was born.

I collect postcards and I love mail art (look for new posts on this soon).  My eyes change colors from blue, to green, to grey and I organize my music by what mood I'm in when I listen to it. I believe in karma and I try to keep up with a yoga routine.  My favorite number is 11. My last name is 11 letters, my full name 22.  I got my license on January 11th, I graduated high school June 11th, I graduated college class of 2011.

Want to get in touch with me?  Email me at HannahFairweather@gmail.com

And this, is Einstein

As another main character on this blog, who occasionally has his own posts as he loves sharing his daily romps! He's such a people person, he always has to be in the same room where I am, or where any guest is.  He follows me from room to room, and RARELY meows. I really don't know what I'd do without him sometimes, he has such a big personality it fills in my life.

If he's in a lounging mood, it's always on HIS orange chair, but if he's playful, he'll waiting under the couch to lunge out at unsuspecting toes.  He's a regular basketball star, by catching his stuffed (dog toy) ball in the air and even jumping two feet in the air to get it!  His only treat is Temptations, preferably the yellow bag, and of course the occasional piece of salmon.

About Thirsty World
First of all, I am beyond grateful to my readers and have so much love for them.  They are the ones who make participating in this blog a little more fun and I wouldn't have gotten so far without them!  So a big THANK YOU to all the followers and readers of Thirsty World!

  5. Hannah,

I was surprised to see your site come up while I was searching the web. After seeing your portfolio it makes me want to get the sketch book back out and go to town. I had no idea you went to school for design. You should put your portfolio on Coroflot.com. It's a good way to get exposure for contract or full time work. If you're ever in Raleigh we should catch up.

    Regards,

    Mike

That's so funny that you had stuffed platypus growing up because I did too! He wasn't my main stuffed animal, but he definitely got some lovin'. He also rocked a purple shirt.

Also, your cat is adorable. I love his long, white eyebrow-whiskers!

Looking forward to getting to know you!
