This Friday marked the beginning of our weekly (or biweekly) "family dinners"! It's a time when we can all get together as a group of friends, 8 of us this week, and sit down to watch a documentary, talk about the week, and eat a home-cooked meal. It also gives me a chance to try to new recipes and see how they turn out! With everyone pitching in, whether its bringing something to share, helping me cook, doing the dishes, or taking out the trash, it becomes an event that we all can take part in and enjoy. Vlad surprised me with flowers too, which were so beautiful! Different flowers, but all such a vibrant yellow, they looked amazing in my green and yellow kitchen! It started off a perfect weekend, which will hopefully be followed by many other perfect weekends in the upcoming fall!
I just stumbled upon your blog and I love it, I just wanted to say hi :). The photos of the flowers are beautiful, I hope you don't mind if I follow.
ReplyDeleteO I'm so glad you liked them! And thanks so much for the support!

ReplyDeletebeautiful photos. I love the yellow
ReplyDeleteYellow is one of my favorite colors...so bright so vibrant! Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are my favourite. Every year I try to out grow my neighbor but she's got 83 years of gardening experience so hers tower over mine!
ReplyDeleteHahah yea she's got you beat! I wish I had a garden to grow my own sunflowers, but I can grow veggies and herbs however I tend to kill flowers. haha
DeleteHi, thanks for stopping by my blog! I love your photography, although the bug photos freak me out a bit;) You're a very brave photographer!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading more of your blog!
