The Triad Orchid Society hosted their fall orchid show at the Natural Science Center in Greensboro NC this past weekend. With competitors from all over the state and several orchid vendors set up, including Seagrove Orchids, the building was filled with vibrant colors and unique styles. Walking in the room, you could immediately smell the sweet aroma that hundreds of orchids subtly produced. I was amazed at how many varieties of orchids were represented even at a smaller show! Tiny orchids, speckled orchid, fuzzy orchids, curly orchids, thin orchids, droopy orchid, lily orchids, and the list could go on and on!
I took 350 photos and probably could have taken twice that many! Being surround by so much beauty in such a small space, every time I'd walk by the same booth I'd find something new I loved about it! But here is a portion of my favorite photos! I hope you enjoy them too!

If I weren't a plant killer, I'd would love to have some orchids. They are beautiful.
DeleteMy father always loved orchids. He had the blessed green thumb, something I am yet to find. I do love orchids though because they remind me of my dad. He passed away in 2000 and on the month of his passing a particular orchid blooms just for him :)
