March can be such an indecisive month, never being able to know whether it should still be a cold winter or whether spring should be allowed to come early and begin to warm up the earth. So there are days in March when it can be almost 70 and then ones like today, when its still only 30. But on a crisp, sunny morning this past weekend, most of the dew was gone for day but there were still a few holding tight to the daffodil leaves. In this moment of ephemeral beauty, I was able to capture the purest time of day and I was so excited with the way these photos turned out! Spring is surely on its way, but until it's finally here to stay, I try to enjoy the warmest moments while I have them! I hope everyone has a wonderful and warm week ahead!
Beautiful photographs! I really can't wait for spring to come and warm up these bones. The hardest part is waiting. Or those nasty days that LOOK warm but FEEL like winter.
ReplyDeletewow - beautiful photos! really makes me want to get a better camera and take better photos too!

Hello from the blog hop! "Indecisive" is the perfect word to describe March - which is precisely why I love it! Cold winds and bright sun! Such a lovely combination.
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful pictures! :) i'm so excited for spring to get here!

a sowing season.
Beautiful photos. It would be cool if you could zoom in on one of the raindrop and show the reflection. I know this would be diffcult as you may lose the quality of the photo but was thinking how awesome that would be.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, living in South Texas I can not relate to the cold winter since it is always warm here in my town. We have a constant 85 plus degrees at winter time. We are so lucky at winter time. Now summer... that is another story. It is always 95 plus starting in May. YIKES!
I agree. March is completely indecisive. Sometimes the whole month can be gorgeous and other times, not so much. The first day of spring is amongst its days, though; so that's always encouraging. :)

DeleteHi Hannah! This is really nerdy, but do you use the Homemade Apple font for your post titles? If so, I use the same for my dates on my blog, haha.
